Dear Pine River Supporter:

The Buck Pride Group was formed in May of 2010 as a 501 ( C ) (3) non-profit with the specific purpose to support
Pine River Area Schools by raising money and awareness in order to repair and replace its athletic facilities We are

elated to report that through your support and the passage of two District bond elections, the major facility pro-
jects originally identified have been completed. With the specified purpose of this non-profit achieved, we have

made the difficult yet gratifying decision to dissolve the Buck Pride Group, effective May 30, 2023. We could not
have achieved these accomplishments without a lot of support, including yours, and for that we are forever grateful!
The group will continue to spend down funds toward athletic goals and move the remaining funds to the Pine River
Athletic department and a new Pine River Schools account for the Hall of Fame which we will continue to host and
support.

Our 2023 efforts as the Hall of Fame committee are underway beginning with the induction, on February 3rd, of our
eighth Hall of Fame class. Congratulations to Zack Jones, Kathy Kassuba, Dr. Brian Sims, Dr. Nicole St. Germaine , and
the 2010 Varsity Volleyball team. We also are currently planning for the 23rd Annual Pine River Golf Classic to be
held on June 11, 2023 at Lakewood on the Green!

We would like to ask for your continued support of the Golf Classic, proceeds to benefit the continuation of the Pine

River Hall of Fame, by or considering a $100 PR Golf Classic hole sponsorship. An updated sponsorship form is en-
closed. If you are interested in sponsorship, we would appreciate your response, including payment, by May 15,

2023.

Finally, we offer a heart-felt thank you for your continued support of the Buck Pride Group and Pine River athletics!

Thanks to you and other like-minded local business and individual sponsors, our school athletic facilities are im-
proved, safe and welcoming. They certainly are something we can all be PRoud of!
